We LOVED our stay! We stayed for 5 days in a 2 queen room. If you are looking for a very traditional unique New Orleans experience this is the place for you! It is perfect distance to Bourbon St., Jackson Square, Frenchmen st., all voodoo shops and all Nola staples. We did not have to walk more than 10-12 minutes on our furthest expeditions! The staff are nice! There is private gated parking (parking everywhere else is usually unsafe street parking or cost about $45/n) and a pool/hot tube! Also felt very safe here as you need a hotel scan card to get into both entrances! Only down fall is no mini fringe in every room, and no microwaves onsite at all. But this is okay because about 95% of hotels/inns in the French Quarter also do not have these. We just booked our second 5 day stay here in a bigger room! They also seem to be on the short list of places in the area with a pool/hot tube! And if you book through the site and sign up for email rewards you get a great loyalty discount that typically beats any other prices around! Oh and it is gorgeous!
Nice, secure place to stay (with parking). On the edge of action but far enough off to not hear the 24 hr a day party that is New Orleans. This area has more of a neighborhood feel and there are nice options close by for any need. Rooms are small but adequate for this type of need (not here to sit in the room). It has a nice pool as well (hot tub was cold, again not here for that). Staff on hand were very helpful. I would stay here again.
We had an excellent stay at Lamothe House Hotel! Staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable - the perfect end to every night and we woke up every morning feeling refreshed. The courtyard was absolutely gorgeous and the pool and hot tub were a very nice touch. The location was perfect, too - close enough to everything that it was convenient, but far enough that it was peaceful. Highly recommend Lamothe!

Love the room. Fancy. Nice ambiance through out the entire place. Just a 10 minute walk to Jackson square.
Secure. Private parking. Lots of space for luggage. Lots of space for people.

You must visit this place at least once in your life. Just a block from the quarter and worth every penny. The staff is top notch. We met the room service staff and housekeeping around the property and they are just delightful. The go out of thier way to greet you and make you feel as if you are home. The property is snuggled in the middle of the residential area and you would have never known it was a hotel. Think bed and breakfast style hotel. You are in the heart of NOLA and you get the true authentic feel of the old city if you stay here. This place is a huge step up from the cookie cutter hotels. I can't wait to book my next visit here.
