Stayed here after seeing it on Anthony Bourdain's Part's Unknown years ago. Spent two nights in a penthouse suite and it was a fantastic experience.
The beds were very comfortable and the suite was clean and well decorated.
My only complaint was the shower, I don't think the double headed shower worked quite as it was supposed to; not a big deal though.
Just spent the past weekend in New Orleans and I'm glad I stay here. This hotel was amazing, the people are very helpful, had a minor issue in the room and it was solved very fast. The location is super convenient, very close to French Quarter, Bourbon Street, maybe a 10 min drive to Frenchman St. From A to Z this hotel was exceptional. LOVED IT.
Last Week I spent a beautiful night at this wonderful place, I recommend anyone looking for a peaceful night and get away this is absolutely the place. I received amazing top service from the staff, especially Mr.Anderson great person and very helpful! Again I appreciate you so much man! Definitely look forward to booking there again really soon! It’s my new relaxation stay! If your looking to book now, look no farther it’s the S-H-I-T! (Meaning absolutely fascinating)
I loved this hotel so much. It was beautiful and the people were sweet. The only reason it isn’t getting 5 stars is because when we left they said there was an error with the card machine and they’d run it later. They never charged us. I called the hotel twice to tell them (about two weeks and a month after) because I didn’t want them to randomly pull the $800 out of my account in case I didn’t have it. Well guess what? Five months later they charged it without contacting me and put my account into overdraft. When I called the accounting person and general manager kept saying they’d cal back but didn’t. I just found it rude the way they went about it when I tried to pay them at time of check out. So yeah, just be careful.
I stayed here just one night and must say, for the price, the room was worth it. If you're a fan of loft style settings this room captured the essence. The room was good but a few things that sucked: a) no room service/kitchen, b) no gym in the build but you have access to a gym one block away, c) the lobby bar was dead day and night, closed early too, d) the front desk is not there all night (no late hours), and finally e) the building hallways and elevator have a bad smell it. Overall, considering the price, it's worth it, especially if you're alone or coupled up, on a budget (under $100 p/n), not recommended for families. You are also about a 7-8 block walk away from the main strip.
