Definitely will stay here again. The staff was great and the lady at the front desk on the morning shift was wonderful and accommodating. The guys on night shift were great as well, offering many suggestions of where to get food off the beaten path.
Only complaint really I suppose was the pool was tiny and ice cold. Not sure it's really a pool. More like a decorative fountain. Definitely skipped taking a swim. But otherwise great experience, nice location (near the French Quarter and down the street from Buzz NOLA bikes) and well priced
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is centrally located with easy access to the city. I’m rating my stay as a one star because the rooms where very dusty and old (I was fine with the old rooms. I can appreciate the the NOLA experience of the hotel) but the rooms were just dirty. There was dusty everywhere in our first room. On the second day, we asked to change rooms and the front desk was very accommodating. The second room was even worst. Dusty, leftover food in the fridge from the previous guest and what looks like blood on the curtains.
I celebrated my birthday here in January. We called before booking and the staff seemed amazing. We were driving and knew we would arrive early. The person we talked too assured us we would be able to do early check in. We arrived and were told early check in was not an option because there was no staff to clean the room. We were also told the staff was light so during our stay no one would be cleaning our room at all and if we needed anything we would have to come to the front desk to get it. While we were there the staff was quite nonchalant and some even rude. We weren't really accommodated much at all. No help, no friends faces or smiles even to greet us in the morning as we expected. We had a warm bed to sleep in so that why I rated 3 stars. I would not boom again.
The hotels location is great and staff is friendly. That's pretty much the only positives I have for this hotel. Our room wasnt very clean, in fact there were weed crumbs left on the table and the floors were dirty. The sheets and blankets are very thin so we asked for another blanket and new sheets since rooms weren't being cleaned and the set they gave us was stained with what looked like blood. I would not stay here again ESPECIALLY considering how much we paid for this room.
Our family stayed over Christmas. Location is good, it is quiet/safe and you can easily walk to the FQ. The hotel is very cozy and homelike. Staff were polite and prompt to fulfill requests. Room was basic, pretty clean but not spotless, beds comfortable. For the price it was a great choice, would come back.
