Every hotel bar should be like the Columns bar. The staff is very attentive without being overbearing. The drinks are very good, but not great. The atmosphere is entirely welcoming. The outdoor seating is a must to truly enjoy the patio and courtyard. The interior is absolutely beautiful if you appreciate architecture and decor. Would stay or visit here any time.
The new renovation is awesome! We hosted a bday party there this past weekend and everything was great! The rooms, the bar, the drinks and the food were perfect! Secret: Try the burger is killer!
Very good service, Nice drink selection, very gorgeous place. But we had the Broadbent country ham. Basically porkrinds (shrimp chips) with prosciutto, and pimento cheese and pickled cauliflower. Description, taste, and cost sub par. Plenty of good options looking at the menu that I'd be interested in trying but just didn't wow me.
Wouldn't seek out in future but wouldn't say no to another visit.
One of the most civilized spots in New Orleans. Great place to spend an afternoon.
Felt like I had gone back in time sitting on the veranda in a fancy hat sipping a cocktail. A must on a leisurely New Orleans afternoon.
