Terrible experience! First room offered the AC didn’t work. We were given another room that wasn’t guest ready; carpets dirty, surfaces unsanitary, telephone didn’t work, toilet sticks with running water. We wiped things down ourselves and stuck it out the first night. We asked the front desk to clean the room at noon and when we got back, nothing had been touched. When I called, they couldn’t explain the lack of service. It’s 5:30’pm and we are settled and not interested in changing rooms and take the risk of moving and more of the same. Completely disappointing and not Marriott standard. Not even close. Don’t stay here. We won’t be back and we have lost all confidence in the Marriott brand of chains.
The staff here is amazing. Bob was very helpful with getting us set up and his professionalism, attitude and demeanor made us feel like we were next door at the Ritz. That being said, our upgraded room cost half as much as a Ritz basic room.
The roomservice food was fantastic. Separate entity, but they took great pride in their food and feedback.
The best shout out I need to give is to the bartender. She gave us some fantastic suggestions of places to try around town and was so kind.
The room was great, comfortable and clean, however the staff here is why we'll be coming back.
I've been to NOLA almost every year for my anniversary and this was by far my favorite hotel. Gorgeous place, perfect location. Trolly right out front, walking distance to bourbon street, tons of amazing restaurants, casino, everything. Highly recommend.
Great location and that is where the positives end for The Saint Hotel.
Hotel is tired.... Supposed to a upscale Marriott branded hotel that had no bar, no food, no fitness (despite showing these amenities on website) and room was meh. Mold in the bathroom shower and scuzzy unkempt cleaning is not somewhere I’ll return to.
Manager was not on site and front desk doesn’t care about your poor experience @ hotel. Too many other options to ever return IMO.
Better experience at a motel 6. NO RESTAURANT... no pool table...no heat in my room... light was out in my bathroom...mgr said she gave me an upgraded room with a city view...I got a view of construction!!! This was my bday weekend and we paid $900 for 3 nights... W A S T E and complete R I P O F F!!!! Come to SATX and let my city show you what’s it’s supposed to be like when you’re hosting guests at a hotel.
Only positive...the bartender was a sweetheart. Don’t lose her because she’s the only gem your hotel has
