Rooms are adorable and vintage, small but with everything you will need. We slept on the pull out bed and it was super comfortable. Rooms and common areas were very clean. The staff is just amazing, so friendly and helpful. This is our go to spot for NOLA from now on, and the location can't be beat. Across the street from the French Market. The neighborhood was walkable and we always felt safe.
The staff was the best part of my stay. Such friendly outgoing and helpful individuals. The location is amazing, everything was walking distance.
My room was alright but the light in the living area was completely useless. The heater was so loud it was hard to sleep and the couch had unknown stains that were absolutely gross.
Very reasonably priced hotel in the perfect spot! 1 min walk to the start of the French Quarter & a few blocks from bourbon street! Also the hotel has an open ceiling with a patio set outside of each hotel room which I’ve never seen before!! Absolutely will stay here again!
Staff was simply amazing! Friendly, clean and so charming! The location is perfect for exploring the French Quarter on foot. We didn't have to drive anywhere. Neighborhood was walkable and safe. We will definitely be returning to Hotel de la Monnaie!
Good, outdated hotel. You get what you paid for. Great location. But not enough got water to take a long shower or a bath. Ac/heater was loud. And we couldn't figure out how to set it overnight. It's an older unit, hard to tell what temp it's set on.
