Reviews from visitors:
Great location, very comfortable and roomy cottages. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Only suggestion is to update some of the furnishings, which seemed a little worn.
A hidden gem in the French Quarter. Wonderful and accommodating staff. Cottage #3 is historic and well maintained with modern updates in the bathroom. The private courtyard a plus. A place where Elizabeth Taylor would come and stay.
So this is a bit of a hidden treasure, a small oasis in the middle of the French Quarter, evident only by a small brass plaque mounted in a nondescript wall between a series of green doors. Feels every bit like its 1920's roots, just a little bit down on its heels and worn; but charming and magical in its own way. Seven little individual cottages all with private brick patios surrounding a lovely small inground heated pool, all with mature grasses, flowers, palms and aged statuary, literally walled off from the hubbub and craziness of all that continues outside. Charming doesn't begin to do this little place justice. The small staff is dedicated, attentive, friendly and very special, all individuals with their own flavors and stories. Itbis not cheap, but we still felt it a reasonable value. It is part of a portfolio of properties. I would urge the owners to celebrate what makes this little gem all that it is and NOT mess too much with success.
Great hotel! Nice heated pool, old decorations, and located on a beautiful street.
Great place and spacious!
