Reviews from visitors:
Great hang out for locals and tourists since the hotel is connected and some air bnbs. Bartenders are great, theres a pool table, close other bars and food.
We loved this hotel. Adam and all the other staff were awesome with anything we needed. The free drinks were definitely a plus. The rooms were cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable. If you are advanced in years or have knee problems the rooms we stayed in would not be good due to the height of the beds. The location was also great a short walk to bourbon street and frenchmen with all the jazz clubs!
Where do I start?
Let's start with the 5 star service upon my arrival with the wonderful lady behind the bar with a warm welcome. She then introduced me to Adam the mgr of this fine establishment who was very helpful and led me up to my suite that they were gracious enough to upgrade me to from the ground floor. (Thank you) The noise was minimal.
The suite, oh my my. So warm and inviting that I had a hard time going out to explore.
Would i stay here again? My go to place in NOLA now.
Thank you for your hospitality.
Great spot with an amazing beer selection. I've spent hours here.
Stayed in the Storyville suite. I couldn't believe how nice the room and amenities were. The place is a total sleeper. R Bar itself is the perfect base camp for exploring New Orleans, with great drinks, the friendliest bartenders ever, and B movies playing on the projector all night. The crowd is a lot of locals, all of whom were great guides to the city and super welcoming.
