Enjoyed our stay!
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Was close to all of the main attractions without being in the unruly part of town. Close to the trolley system and French Quarter! Well with I'm walking distance.
Deducted a star due to there being an issue with the heat in our first room. However, we were quickly moved and compensated for the inconvenience.
The hotel room was clean and the room design was fun. The cleaning staff deserve 5 stars. They were the bright spot during our stay.
Negatives: The view from my room was the brick wall of the building right next to the hotel. The lady at the front desk was not willing to make an effort to rectify this despite my request. The hallway and neighbors were very noisy. The hallway on the 7th floor smelled of marijuana. The breakfast was a basic sack breakfast with 1 boiled egg, 1 muffin, and an orange. No water or other beverage was offered.
As a diamond member, I do not recommend this hotel to others. My wife and I will not personally stay at this location again in the future.
No ventilation!
Booked this hotel for two nights, room was small but comfy, nice view. There’s no assigned parking, only the public one for $25 a night. Customer service was okay. I came in a little earlier, around 2pm and pre-checked in, lady told me I will get a message as soon as my room is ready, so I went to explore the city for a little bit. After 3 hours I never get the message, when I returned to the hotel there was another person at the front desk, who checked me in.
The biggest concern that there is no ventilation in the room at all, room felt damp. It was like sleeping in a sauna, no fans in the bathroom neither. They need to do something with that.
The hotel is in the business district, not very central to the French quarter, but pretty close to Bourbon Street. The accommodations are very modern and comfortable. It's also very good for business. There are not any good restaurants nearby.
We stayed here for a little less than a week. Booked it through Plan with tan.
The staff was friendly and the hotel is relatively close to everything. You can walk to Canal St, Bourbon St or the Streetcar stops.
The bed was comfortable and the shower was therepeutic.
Only complaint is they don't change the sheets or provide new towels/toilet paper unless you request it.
