Always a great experience. Super close to Bourbon. Not the friendliest staff. I can only assume it is a miserable work environment because it is very rare that anyone is nice that works there. I have been staying there for 15 years and many of the same people still work there. I am hoping that since they have been closed down because of COVID that there will be a new staff there.
Just spent 5 days here and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel room was nice & clean with a patio out to the courtyard. Hotel is in a great location - right by all the fun, but also away from it so you can sleep. Front desk was friendly (especially Leroy). Restaurant & bar were by far the best service I received all weekend!! I would definitely recommend staying here.
The reviews were great and I agree with them. Great location one block off Bourbon Street with little nighttime noise. Very nice room size, amenities, comfortable bed and bathroom. Our room had a small balcony overlooking a charming inner courtyard with pool. Hotel bar, happy hour and breakfast eat in or take out were very good.
Whole hotel gave off upscale but at reasonable pricing. Helpful staff all around, easy to appreciate.
This one's a gem and we will return.
Amazing service, clean rooms, location, location, location. If you want a true N.O. experience with walkability and a balcony...stay here. Skip any other of the brand name places and stay here!
We loved our stay here! The front desk staff were so helpful and fun. The room was very nice, great shower, comfy beds. Our room had a window overlooking the street and we were just a block's walk from Bourbon Street, so there was a steady stream of people going by at night, but never felt too loud or disruptive. The restaurant and bar right in the hotel were great. The food is really good and they have hapoy hour specials, good breakfast, etc. We loved our stay.
