My wife and I stayed her at the Royal castle last weekend. We chose this place for two main reasons. Firstly, it is very close to the beach (Less than 50 meter I guess!). Secondly, the rooftop swimming pool (the view of the horizon and townscape was amazing). This place fulfilled our expectations.I must say it was a pleasant experience since the staffs and the management took really good care of us. Health check ups were done as soon as we arrived and they provided us a clean and sanitized room and they strictly followed social distancing as well. All three meals were fantastic and satisfying. We really enjoyed our mini vacation peacefully, thanks to the hotel management. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a stay in Negombo area.
A wonderful friendly family hotel! The staff bent over backwards to help us.
The owner even took me in his own car to the doctor when I wasn’t well, waited while I had the tests, drive round everywhere to find a pharmacy, then when we got back to the hotel, he insisted that a had a hot bowl of delicious soup brought to my room! What fantastic service. He certainly exceeded his customer care and service in every way. What a wonderful man!
The hotel itself is a perfect location, close to the beach, shops and restaurants.

No adequate staff in the hotel. Room was dusty and AC machine was not worked properly. Ants were all over the room and felt odour in the room.
That night was a mess for all of us. We enjoyed roof top pool in the evening.
