Very good hotel. Nice room and a good garden. But the swimming pool in to a next premises.
The pool is elsewhere. Stayed one night. Rooms are nice and spacious as a place for lodging it's pretty good. However it is slightly out of the way from Alwis rd
Most friendly and helpful staff. great first impression everything about the hotel was exceptional ,it was clean stylish, space with excellent service food was beyond good and great value for money and service attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I am very pleased to stay, and short holiday. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the near future . Would like to recommend 100% for anyone who will visit ceylonlak.
We have upgraded to sea horse and spa hotel. It was amazing rooms and kind staff. Great place to enjoy with family.
As soon as I arrived I was surprised how disorganised the place was, and that it didn't look at all like the photos I thought my taxi took me to the wrong place.
We booked a room for 3 people and the photos looked really nice.
The photos show a beautiful pool, however there is no pool at Ceylonlak boutique hotel. Not at all. The pool is around the corner and down the road in a complete different hotel called the sea horse.
The pool is ok, but not as glamorous as in the photos. There was a guy with a fancy camera making even more fancy shots and when he started taking pictures of us I asked him to stop because he didn't ask our permission and then he got aggressive and refused to delete them, very annoying.
The room was actually very nice and clean with a really good shower and a big double bed, but the bed for the 3rd person was extremely hard so we asked for another which couldn't be done, and then they wanted a further 80 euros to get our friend a room with a comfortable bed, in the end we cancelled and went else where.
