Reviews from visitors:
Very pleased with out stay at Loews Vanderbilt. Excellent location within walking distance of Centennial Park and several good restaurants. Quiet at night! Bed was very comfortable and the linens felt luxurious. Staff was always professional and courteous. Would recommend to friends and family.
The good: Staff was friendly, dinner was fairly good, the room was attractive and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Of course, you can expect that from any decent chain motel these days.
The bad: Parking was not included in the almost $200 per night price of the room, which the website and staff failed to mention. I only noticed the ($40!!!) charge when I was checking out, and of course by then it was too late to object. Breakfast was also not included, and the selection was extremely limited. Of the two sandwich options available, my wife and I chose the egg white and turkey bacon on English muffin(I swear I'm not making that up, that was the most appealing option). We also purchased two canned soft drinks and a yogurt parfait, which, after tax brought our total for breakfast to just over $35, and for that price I had expected sandwiches which weren't hot on the outside and cold and soggy on the inside, but once again my expectations set me up for disappointment.
My personal opinion; you can find a much better hotel at a much better price, and you don't have to look very hard to do so.
This is a hard review to write because I cannot capture all of the work everyone at Loews, especially Erica, did to give us a perfect wedding. From the planning (and replanning, and last second complete redo), to the amazing food and wonderful servers, to all of the special touches and the acts behind the scene I don’t even know about, I am just so grateful. Erica is a dream. She plans every detail, is a wonderful communicator, and is so professional. While our wedding wasn’t what we imagined (a hopeful 500 becoming a planned wedding-party-only, reduced to only parents due to city restrictions a week before), it felt intimate and perfect. I could not imagine having a wedding reception with more joy than what we and our parents felt that day. They were so accommodating, and even with needing to cancel guest reservations we still felt like they were enthusiastic about doing anything in their power to make it a great day/night. Last minute they helped set up and organize a computer for our wedding party to meet over Zoom, so we still got the toasts and have our family “there” for first dances. The staff was incredible and I’ll talk about their tomato soup for days. Thank you so much Erica, and everyone at Loews for making our night so special!
The staff was courteous, professional and helpful. Location is conveniently located near numerous restaurants and convenient to the interstate. Despite this proximity to so many businesses my room was very quiet. On-site parking garage also a plus
Beautiful, modernly decorated, clean rooms. Extremely friendly and informative staff. Every interaction, from phone calls, front desk, cleaning staff and coffee shop - everyone was great. I'll definitely stay here again on our next trip thru Nashville.
