We used booking.com for our trip. The room wasn't what we expected at all. We were under the impression by pictures and descriptions of the room there would be both a shower and a bathtub. We requested a high floor with a view. Not the view I expected.. which was a parking lot "see pictures". The same parking lot I paid 20$ per night for parking. Keep that in mind for your budgeting of you read this. Indoor pool was cold? Heated room but not a heated pool? Nothing special here. Location was great. Lobby was nice.
Best views of Nashville. We had the corner room on the 19th floor. Unfortunately infinity pool is closed. $20 parking next door. Staff was amazing and friendly, especially Bryan up at the rooftop bar (L27 lounge). He was extremely kind and accommodating and went above and beyond to give us a great time.
This is a hotel you want to avoid at all costs. We scheduled an event in early March, 2020 which was postponed because of a tornado that hit Nashville days prior. At the time, the events manager promised us we could reschedule at our convenience - agreeing it was not a good time to come to Nashville. Then COVID hit. When we tried to reschedule for this year we were told "it was too late". The events manager at the time had left the hotel. The GM arrogantly stated: "No refund or credit for the deposit to a future event." Mind you, he was giving up thousands of dollars if we held the event at a later date. Real smart. Every other hotel that we had events at in March forward gave us a full refund/credit. When I went to Westin/Marriott corporate I was told this was "an independent franchisee" and they had no control over them. The GM of this hotel cares less about the Westin brand and as you can see from other reviews and has no sense or concern of guest satisfaction.
This was the perfect pick for a Nashville Valentines in style and comfort. The level of detail and hospitality makes this 5 star review easy... we were even upgraded to a better room with better view upon arrival, and given champagne and chocolate in the lobby as we waited to get checked in...everyone is so nice. The interior is exquisite as well as the food!
Across the street from Gilman restaurant goodness and a block away from several shops & other restaurants. Valet parking $17 but a meter parking tie is $11. Quiet rooms and the suites are spacious. Media amenities are da bomb. Four elevators make waiting non existent. Nice restaurant in house and Bistro type store is plentiful. Cool Indy type race car in the lobby and the lobby extends outside with gas fired heating to boot. Stay here and enjoy the ambience.
