Great location and price for a weekend trip. Given the fact that many businesses have opened their kitchens and bar, I would have expected this hotel to figure out how to do this safely by now.
After a long drive you want to sit at the bar in the hotel and have a drink and eat. Not able to do this on this visit.
This is suppose to be a 3.5 star hotel. Maybe at one time it was. The good. This is a budget hotel in a decent part of town. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure.
The bad, this hotel is very dated. It needs a major renovation. In our room, their was hair all over our bed sheets. It was made, but the sheets hadn't been washed. The carpet hadn't been vacuum, in some time. The shower handle comes off, when you use shower. The toilet was black on the inside.
To sum it up, if you are looking for a budget hotel, and are not concerned about cleanliness. This would be ok for you. If you are on a family trip or a romantic getaway, this hotel would not be a good fit for you.
Great hotel for an even better price. Friendly staff and very clean rooms, great views, good neighborhood that was quiet. Have been bragging about it ever since.
I have stayed here before and liked it enough to rebook again for a girls weekend.. well between then and now it definitely went from a 5 star to a 2. Would have given a 1 if it wasn't for the lady who was cleaning room's. She was the only friendly employee that worked there. The lady that was at the desk was rude , could barely get her to answer any questions. And the one's she did were short and full of leave me alones. I'd rather spend 300.00 $ on my next stay somewhere else to have friendly people on my vacation I wait so long to go on
The price was great and cant beat the free parking. The view of downtown from room window was beautiful. Yes, it is an older hotel and could use updating but I imagine Covid put a pause on that. It was a clean room and that's all I really care about.
