For somewhere that is so immaculately decorated where no detail has been overlooked it was shocking to find that this level of care and thought went into no other aspect of the facility. Service and experience are not a priority. I have reached out directly to the graduate hoping that my experience was not normal or an accurate representation of what their values are however my empty inbox leads me to believe that they do not care. Don’t get me wrong I got some killer pictures! I guess that is what they value most.
This hotel is very cute and trendy and this was our second stay in the last 6 months .
I had to call the day before arrival to modify the reservation . I originally had 2 rooms for multiple days . I called the main number, but was transferred to a call center . I was on hold over 15 minutes . Someone finally answered . The person sounded sleepy or distracted. She was oddly slow to respond. She went through my reservation and read it back to me very slowly and in detail. Then at 4:04 pm told me she could not modify or cancel anything because it was past the 4:00 pm change cut off time . I asked for a manager and told her I had been on the phone with the hotel for 20 minutes at that point. I had called well before the hotels 4pm cut off and I told her it was exactly 4 minutes past the hour . Her reply was “ not my fault you called close to our 4:00pm cut off time , I’m not changing anything !” “ I can’t help how long you were on hold “
I hung up and called the hotel in Nashville directly . Someone answered quickly and immediately modified my reservation . The call center was literally the worst hotel customer service I have ever experienced .
If my kids weren’t SO excited about staying here , I would not be here . Such a fun hotel chain , but PLEASE fix your customer service issues !! Your employees need to understand - the guests are why the hotel is open and why they are making reservations . No one wants to spend their money to stay at a hotel where the employees are SO entitled and rude . Even though the hotel stay was fine , the reservation experience ruined it . Will not be another stay at a Graduate Hotel .
Beautiful looking place. However, Dolly and the type of people who were her biggest fans for all these years won't really be well received here. The staff is very young (and that's great) but for the most part too inexperienced to realize they would be more welcoming if they'd smile. Nowadays its about all $6 coffee or $12 cocktails and a great atmosphere. Then the ball is dropped training staff to receive their guest with open arms, make them feel welcome. Some day this place will not be the latest greatest and then you'll really need staff to keep people coming in the door. My advice have the staff read this. Take pride in your work. Be the best at what you do. No matter the position it plays a meaning part in every day operations.
Stayed here for NYE and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful with suggestions with things to do/eat in Nashville. The only thing I would suggest is more reservations for the white limousine restaurant as it was hard to book for the night we were there.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. However, the experience was disappointing. There wasn’t housekeeping, which is understandable because of Covid, but we stayed three nights and called 4 times for someone to bring towels and take out garbage. Nobody came. We ended up finding the housekeeping room and getting our own clean towels. When we checked out the garbage was overflowing and a whole corner of the bathroom was dedicated to used towels. Additionally, our toilet wasn’t working and it took hours for someone to come fix it. We expected better for $300+ a night and spending over $900 total for a cute, but tiny, room. After a long year of doing nothing, we wanted to splurge on a fun hotel for a girls trip. Not worth it, unfortunately.
