Everything you need right here...
Great hotel. I will definitely return. I love the fact they gave you a welcoming packet gifts(Hollywood house of wax and other attractions, restaurants). Discounts and some was free. Was a bonus. Very clean and free American Breakfast in the morning included in your stay of course.
Everything nice enough. The breakfast most mornings not that great out of 4, except for 1 morning, was wonderful. The turtle bay cafe, nachos were wonderful! Ask for late checkout, was told no, but leaving we saw many open rooms available. They also came to our room to get us to leave 15 mins. Early.
Arrived at 3:45 pm and we were told the room would be ready in a few minutes. An hour later we were told it would be a few more minutes. Finally got checked in about 5:00 pm. We have been coming here for years, usually very satisfied. That was when it was Long Bay. Now I will not be going back. One of the highlights of the trip was the breakfast bar, but no more. After the first two "free" breakfasts, we started going out and buying breakfast. The food was terrible, with a very limited selection. Who ever heard of a breakfast bar with no pancakes? Also had to call down for towels and toilet paper. There was a throw rug on the floor with a turned up corner that I tripped on several times. We've been going to this resort for years, but will not be going back. The shower looked to be remodeled, but dangerous. No kind of handle or anything to hold on to. OK if you are young, but tricky for older folks.
