Already making reservations for another visit.
We stayed there this past weekend and we honestly had the best experience ever. My wife and I went down to the bar and met one of the best bartenders we’ve ever encountered. Michelle was very nice and her personality was very bubbly and she interacted with all of her customers. Would definitely go back and stay again just to have Michelle (aka Karen) serve us.
- A friendly, clean, and welcoming facility. On the beach.
- Rooms were comfortable.
- Provided breakfast was hot and cold, with eggs, breakfast meat, a carbohydrate (either grits, potatoes or french toast sticks), toast, sweet roll, cold cereal, milk, fruit, fruit juices, and coffee/tea. The resort really made an effort to make this carry out breakfast successful
- Staff was always willing to listen and take action to make our stay a success.
- Pool, outdoor lounges, and sitting area were kept clean and available.
- Will be returning.
The worst experience I've had staying in a hotel. Took my wife on a 20th Anniversary celebration and they screwed it up. Room was under construction (literally workers on the balcony cutting a hole in the floor). Room was filled with dust in the air and on everything (even though they were outside and doors were closed). Asked to be transferred to another room (didn't ask for upgrade or anything, just a room) and they said they had no other king suites. No option for anything else (upgrade or downgrade) just told I should find another hotel. I know they weren't fully booked, because during the hour and a half I was in the lobby, people were coming off the street with no reservation and getting tons. So Friday evening 5pm I'm left looking for another hotel in Myrtle Beach. People at front desk weren't helpful at all. Was told I'd receive a full refund, couple days later, no refund. Contested the charge on my credit card, and it was finally returned. But then (since I booked through booking.com) I was reported by the hotel to booking.com as a "no show", so they could charge me for my reservation, saying that I never checked in. Would not recommend, and I won't even attempt a stay again.
To managements reply: If you can't help make my original attempt to stay at the property a successful one, what makes me want to try again?
Had a ball. Got complaints on the music being that the base was heard down our entire hallway but other than that we had a great time. One of the rooms had its personal balcony while the other room had its often bathroom but shared a balcony. Full kitchen 2 bathrooms, one had a walk in shower while the other had a bathtub with shower. Safe in one room in closet. The bathroom that was in my room had a handmade flower out of nose tissue (clean of course), very cute n creative. Clean spot & the receptionist (all of them) was very nice. Stay well worth it for our 10th anniversary. Summer will be better being that pool & jacuzzi is out doors but wad told it is still very warm regardless the outside temp.
