To high on prices after labor day week
Room is OK. Seems like it was rushed to be cleaned. Probably because we showed up to check in after 4pm and our room wasn't ready yet. Then the itinerary we get emailed to us says check out it at 11 but in the lobby there were signs that said check out is anytime before 10am. Beds are hard and no linens for the Murphy bed. View is really nice and parking is right across the street. Very convenient. Just don't plan on parking in their if you drive a truck. Will update later after we check out the pool. But needless to say as of now it will be the 1st and last time we stay at this hotel.
Update: After waiting 40 minutes to check in and calling to the front for linens we decided to go purchase our own because we still didn't get sheets. I will say this, you get what you pay for. Next time I will fork out some extra money and go back and stay at the Dunes Village Resort.
Room was a nice size. The beds were kind of hard, but comfortable enough. The little “comforter” on the bed was very thin. The whole suite smelled like marijuana when we arrived and it continued to smell that way for our 2 days. The kitchen and bathroom could be a lot cleaner. Dust and dirt everywhere. The view from the balcony was great. Won’t stay again.
Common areas need updated. There is wear and tear on the furniture everywhere. My husband is handicapped and the north handicap door very rarely works. It’s very hard to open these doors while trying to maneuver his service dog and a cane. The restaurant, Indigo Coastal Kitchen, has great She Crab soup and breakfast . Stacy is awesome! I would recommend elsewhere for dinner as Heaven, the restaurant manager , doesn’t manage like she should. She allows drunk guests to be over served to the point where they are obnoxious. She doesn’t accommodate service dogs. It’s over priced at $22 for a steak and baked potato. Overall, the accommodations are great if you rent from outside management. We love our condo 1502 and will be back!!
I really enjoyed our short stay. Everyone was nice and polite. Very helpful staff. Loved that all the rooms had balcony's with an ocean view. LOVED IT
