Reviews from visitors:
We booked our ocean front rooms (2 rooms for our family) over a week ago. We were given a total price including ALL fees. We got here and they proceeded to tell us there was a $10/day parking fee and they were going to hold $150 PER ROOM on our card until 2-3 business days after checkout. A $438 stay turned $788. They tried to argue and tell me my confirmation emails told me of these fees, of which I produced and guess what? Not a word of any of it. We have our dispute, pay their fee and get to our room.... the entire balcony sliding glass door is off the tracks and we can’t open it. The microwave had greasy finger prints/smears all over the door opening and buttons- clearly it wasn’t even wiped down.
Never again. I’ll gladly spend my money elsewhere.
Last minute trip to the beach and we found Captain's Quarters Resort. We got an oceanfront room last minute which was a blessing. The rooms could use a deep cleaning. And the bathroom wallpaper should be replaced. Thank goodness we brought our firestick, the remotes were falling apart. But overall it was doable for something so last minute.
This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed in at the beach!!!! Trying to check in was awful the employee was rude and disrespectful and on top of that you have to pay to park at a hotel that you have booked what a joke. Parking was a disaster. You couldn't get in the pool they was to crowded,we never got to do our bowling cause they was crowded. All they wanted to do was party and smoke weed. For it to be a family friendly it wasn't. Our room was not cleaned and our heat wouldn't stay on when it got to 65 the air would come on when we cut the heat on it wouldn't go passed 70 to stay warm. They shot fireworks up till really late keeping us up. This wasn't a family friendly hotel it was a joke.. Never will I stay there again. Not worth the money you pay for it.
The amenities are great. The room we had was a 2 bedroom which was accommodating. But the view was barely ocean view but could see a little. Room 204 is the room we stayed in and the noise from the parking garage was very annoying you could hear people locking the cars and the horn blowing multiple times and alarms going off multiple times I know this is not the hotels fault but this is my review of the place and room. All and all the reason for booking this place was the amenities for the granddaughter she was happy so we dealt with everything with no complaints. If the room had been a little quieter I would have given them 5 stars.
Been staying here for years, never again, pot smell on every floor, in the elevators, its definitely a low end hotel now. The only friendly person I met was the security lady who walks around and they dang sure need her. Good for party people, not families
