Reviews from visitors:
This place was great! 2 big pools, splash pool for little ones, 2 lazy rivers (just not real big), but still a lot of fun. I think there was 3 big hot tubs, and it's right on the ocean! Very Nice staff. All requests were dealt with quickly.
Ya goooooooo thats all i can say
The Caribbean is in a great location, ocean front, but a short drive to shopping and the boardwalk. It has a lot of pools and hot tubs, so even when it rained, we were able to get in the pool...and it rained at least a little, almost every day on our vacation. The pools also stay open until 10 or 11 (can’t remember) so we were able to spend a good amount of time there even if we did other things during the day, and spent a lot of time at the ocean. The crowd at the pool was fun at night too. They had a speaker and danced and everyone joined in. The hotel might need to consider getting there own. There are also 2 nice bars by the pools, one on either side. We got a 4bdrm, 3 bath condo which also had a pullout couch, so there was plenty of space. There were several balconies too. And a washer and dryer. I will def stay again if we go back with a group.
Other than the check in process taking a while, our stay was quite delightful. Caribbean Resort has spacious suites unlike a lot of the Myrtle Beach hotels and since we were here to get away and rest, we greatly appreciated the extra space to just hang out and watch the ocean. We also had breakfast tickets each morning to The Sea Captain's restaurant and it was so nice to just walk over for breakfast. Their food was soo good and plentiful that would hold us until we walked down the beach later for an early seafood dinner. As a matter of fact, we parked our car Friday night and didn't even get back in it until we left on Monday. We were able to walk everywhere else including Starbucks and Ben and Jerry's across the street.
I typically don’t review places but this one was bad. If I could download a picture I would. This is not a resort like on the website. It is a motel. No restaurant no bar., even the lobby store is closed. Pools are nice but need to go to the store to buy water or beer to enjoy. 2 of the lamps in the room are completely broken. We have a suite which has great views but can’t enjoy with kids for the smell of pot is overwhelming. Find a different place. This one is rough.
