We got a great deal for 2 nights. The location is perfect. The view from our balcony was amazing. The shower didn't have a shower curtain and the hallways smelled pretty bad. The hot tub was discustingly dirty. I personally would definitely go there again, especially on a tight budget.
I'm a beach baby even though I was born an raising right here in Greensboro NC. I love and I mean love going to the beach in my second home Myrtle Beach South Carolina , North Myrtle Beach is where I spent my time when I get the chance to go down to my second Love . Right on the beach but this time was unfortunate not as pleasant as I know the Good people of SC to be my ROOM HAD BUGS !!! IN It When contact the front desk they was less then impressed with my issue. The next day I spoke to someone again I was told they would get right on it and because of events in town there was no other room this weekend March 19 - came home the 21 . Saturday we thinking we shouldn't have anymore problem but put our bag in the car just in case and only kept one change of clothes inside for the ride home . So glad we did that in the bathroom and kitchen area OMG, Again trying to talk to MANAGER AND WAS GIVEN THE RUN AROUND. This is the first time I have ever have this happen to me. I don't know if it a chance in Management or something.
My family and I just got back after staying for 8 nights and we thought it was perfect for what we needed ! We stayed last year and this year was way better. Staff was friendly and anything we needed was provided. Because of covid no housekeepers could come in the room which I was fine with. Just put your trash and dirty towels outside your door and they took it and left clean towels in a bag hanging on the outside of your door. Pools were cleaned every day. I can't wait to go back! Thank you Sandcastle for a great family vacation!
This overall a decent place. I was skeptical because of the reviews I read. But there were no bed bugs no roaches, and no cigarette smell. Because of covid you did have to ask for clean towels. Over all it was a nice place.
The hotel is run down and in need of remodeling. There was a very pervasive odor of marijuana throughout the hotel and grounds. May be acceptable if that's your thing. Not recommended for a couple seeking a quiet weekend at the beach.
