We loved the comfortable rooms with a great view of the ocean. The deck was perfect for watching the waves and birds when we were just relaxing with our morning tea. It was easy to get to the beach and enjoy time walking by the waves. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wifi worked well for attending school and working all at the same time.
The staff were all very nice and helpful. The place was in a good location, and they were able to accommodate our request for a quieter room. The room we stayed in was very, very spacious, and was clearly intended as a condo. I did feel that being charged a resort fee when practically none of the 'resort' amenities were available, either due to weather or COVID restrictions was a bit unfair. It was a really good hotel, but I was expecting a bit more from them, given its reputation and price. One thing that really surprised me was how uncomfortable the furniture was; seriously, that couch was absolutely torturous.
We still enjoyed our stay, and would consider staying there in the future, but really hope that they have a chance to bring back some of the resort level features before we do. Having signs up for valet parking when you don't actually offer it was quite disconcerting, even though the bellhops were amazingly helpful. Fully functional restaurants would be a great thing, too. Having your main restaurant only open for breakfast, when your night time 'bar restaurant' seats no more than a dozen, was pretty aggravating at the time.
Beautiful Condos. It's a nice, quiet area. The pool is clean. The condos are far enough from golf course that you don't have to worry about fly balls but close enough for nice views. Edit: I forgot to mention the pool is saltwater. Some people prefer it that way some people don't, but it's good to know.
I am a local, Me and my girlfriends had a great weekend at the ‘ocean escape’ apartments! The rooms were beautiful and tastefully put together! Nice big balcony with beach view! So nice!
The place was super clean, we had everything we needed at the apartment, costumer service was great. Highly recommended!!!
Stayed with the family for five nights in one of their 2 bedroom suites. It was worth every penny extra to get an ocean view from the room. It was absolutely dreamy up on the 23rd floor! The building and grounds here are immaculate. The beach and boardwalk are literally out the back door and the pools and hot tubs were not overly crowded. I wish the beach chairs had been unlocked for our use, but considering the windy weather while we were there, I guess it's understandable.
The suite was roomy and very comfortable. Beds and pillows were great. The kitchen was well stocked, but measuring cups would have been helpful. Salt and pepper on hand would also be a nice gesture.
All staff that we interacted with were professional, friendly and helpful. I'd absolutely stay here again.
Overall it was a great place to stay. Modern and clean. However the receptionist was not very pleasant when we checked in. The only downside was we were told we could leave our baggage in a secure location when we checked out as our flight didn’t leave for another 5 hours but at check out we were told we couldn’t so we had to drag our luggage around downtown
beautiful views!! very close to beach access. the villa was massive and VERY clean. tons of recreational activities and 4 or 5 pools and hot tubs all heated! lawn games, fire pits, friendly staff. everything about our stay was great and we truly loved it.
What did we like about The Sea Mist? Everything! Mr. Tim was very professional and friendly as was all the staff we encountered. Elevator access was great. We had 4 elevators on our floor and they were very fast! The kitchenette had an oven and a perfect size fridge, but a blender was have totally top it! The privacy curtains were awesome to sleep in but balcony view was sheer perfection!
However more signs indicating the location of the front office are much needed.
My family and I loved our stay at this resort. The entire resort is clean, the pools are clean, friendly staff, food and fun minutes away, pools stayed open until 11pm.
Really enjoyed our 2 night stay here! Upon arrival the service was great! Check in was fast so we could get our suits on and head to the indoor water park. Not huge but plenty to do to keep the kids happy. Location is great, Close to alot of things to do and eat. Room was immaculately clean and looked and smelled new. We hope to stay here again soon. Great experience in all?
The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our unknown schedule. The room was nice. The beds were clean and firm. We were next to the pool and steps from the ocean. The only issue I had was I couldn't figure out the hot water in the shower at 5am.
We recently stayed at the Sheraton Four Point for our son's basketball tournament and had an amazing time! The hotel was extremely clean, quiet and the service was excellent! The bar and restaurant had delicious food, drinks and great atmosphere. The Regional Director Harsh was very professional, personable and attentive to all of the customers. He always made sure we were happy and receiving great service. The gym was clean and had a great selection of equipment. The outdoor pool was nice with comfy chairs for lounging. We will definitely stay here again!!! Thanks Harsh for all you did to make our stay so nice!
My wife and I had a short get away for the weekend and Ocean 22 was a lucky choice for us. This was our first visit to Myrtle Beach and this hotel was nestled in a great location, had large clean rooms, everything we needed and the staff were awesome. We had a complete kitchen that was well equipped and the room had a washer and dryer. When we bring the family later this year we will definitely be staying here again. Beach access was great and a bunch of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. The grounds were well maintained and the hotel as a whole was very clean. This hotel is a definite recommend.
