It does not feel like a hostel. It has nive comfy rooms with a view.
Augustin is a new, modern and stylish hotel next to the Bavaria Park and Theresienwiese were the Oktoberfest is held. The building is ultra nice with big floor to bottom windows, almost surrounded by big trees. I loved the big sculptural white spiral staircase, the room fittings, the wooden floors and the modern furniture. Staff was nice, breakfast a really good deal given the high prices in Munich.
The hotel is in a really nice and quiet are and less than 5 minutes walking to the nearest subway/u-bahn station.
The Augustin was easily one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever been to. I was in a 6 bed shared room but the beds were very comfortable and the entire room was sparkling clean. The bathrooms in the room were great and super clean. The lockers in the rooms are great and opened by your room key card so you don’t even need a lock. Breakfast was included and it was incredible. Large and delicious spread. I definitely recommend this place if you’re traveling solo or with kiddos!
