Major sightseeing places and univercity within walking distance. Lots of options nearby for food. Worth the extra charge for breakfast. Polite staff. One of the best choices, if excesive badget is not an option. Relatively small rooms but not a real problem.
My parents stayed here for three nights. Was a complete desaster. The entire building is run down and badly maintained. Carpets are full of stains. The bathroom door does not close, windows have not been cleaned, empty soap was not replaced. The entire room was dusty and generally in bad shape. On top of that it's super noisy. There are several bars across and it stayed loud until 3 o'clock in the morning each night.
Only positive things: Staff was okay. Clean linen and central location.
Me and my wifey stayed over at 8 - 11 and we have to say that we where surprisingly satisfied with the experience, all the staff where welcoming and polite and helping us around munich.
Perfectly situated for access to the best Munich has to offer. Very friendly staff and nice quiet rooms. I'll definitely return.
Great location, excellent buffet breakfast, nice style, and good staff.
My only comment is that the bathroom was just about as small as feasibly possible.
Overall, I'd stay here again. The level of service was good and it's really easy to get around town from the hotel. Loads of galleries right nearby. Close to the metro, the English garden, and the center is less than 15 minutes easy walk.
Excellent bars and restaurants in the vicinity as well.
