I have stayed at this hotel many times. For a city-centre hotel, it is excellent, with smart rooms, a quiet bar / seating area in a courtyard, good quality staff that are a pleasure to deal with and important for my motorcycle tour groups, good quality and safe parking. Breakfasts are excellent quality and the barman always makes me smile with his sense of humour.
Very convenient location and pretty comfortable facility for staying. They don't offer breakfast as buffet for the moment but if you order breakfast with them, instead they will hang a small bag on your door the next morning, which is pretty decent. However, there is a chance they may process things wrong and hard to communicate if you don't speak German, so that's something to watch out.
Nice hotel,
The hotel does not enforce its own COVID 19 protocol. There is a big sign in front of reception stating that masks are required when in public - the staff (Mario and Terzi) are walking around the property maskless all the time.
Wifi is slow
Area is sketchy - beggars, people hanging out at street corners.
Breakfast is passable, too expensive for what it is
Very clean and nice rooms. Reception especially has been very friendly and helpful regarding finding a good place to eat. The breakfast, although a bit pricey, was nothing like other breakfast you get in some hotels. Extremely high quality food and a huge selection of things to eat. Can only recommend the hotel especially if you have business near the city centre!
