The breakfast is amazing, the rooms were more than adequate, and the breakfast was delicious. However, I will never stay at this hotel again, because the front desk was simply terrible. It started when I checked in. The front desk employee insisted that I needed to get my father to check in (I in my early 20s). I felt this was disrespectful but not that big of a deal. The real outrage was when I wanted to sign up for activities in the Munich area. The concierge insisted that I could not register for a next-day trip to visit Neuschwanstein (I was able to after a 20 minute google search). He then refused to help me with a Beer Hall Putsch walking tour that I had heard about online. Most of the staff I interacted with were very nice, but this one man really made me feel uncomfortable during my stay.
Wonderful service, great location. I was concerned that it might be noisy, but was very quiet. Breakfast was first rate. Would definitely recommend, and also stay here again. Close to everything, staff was the best...professional and helpful.
Modern and updated rooms. Very central location for museums and attractions. Helpful staff. We will stay there next trip.
This place was perfectly situated, walking distance to everything, including the Oktoberfest grounds. Breakfast was fantastic, restaurant and front desk staff were wonderful. However, the hotel is definitely in need of an update... the guest rooms were not what you’d expect for $700 (CAD) a night... the minibar is non alcoholic beverages only but there is bubbly at the breakfast buffet! Overall the location and breakfast can’t be beat but the guest rooms are not what you’d expect at a 4 star hotel.
