Great service yet rooms are a little dated...
We had received a voucher to stay here for our wedding. The voucher does not come with a price amount, but just what is included. We were not informed that alcohol at dinner is not included, so we had to pay out of pocket. Fine.
However, we had not spent enough money at dinner to cover the price of the voucher, and the waiter was not able to provide us an itemized receipt to know the difference. When we discussed with the front desk at check out, they told us we could either have lunch or champagne in the lobby. Sorry, but we had to check out. They gave us a cookie..
A 5 star hotel becomes 5 stars only based on service. The dinner service took very long. The lack of a receipt so we could plan accordingly to use the rest of the voucher money. This is how patrons “waste” money.
I will never recommend anyone purchase a voucher here. The best part about the rooms was the toilet.
I am greatly disappointed.
We had the best time, loved everyone there. Julius behind the bar made sure we had a great stay. Also, the piano player was so talented and a really funny guy, he's the best. Loved my stay here, thank you!!!
The hotel is situated perfectly for the grand sights of Munich. Operations are impeccable. Staff meet highest standards. Food and drink as well. Guests are clearly business. The atmosphere is formal, in a friendly way
