Cheap+clean+nice staff=excellent
Beautiful hotel. Loved the decor, especially in the hallways outside the rooms. Great location, very close to the metro for the further away places. Easy walk to the Red Square and a bunch of other areas of interest. Bunch of bars right down the street. Staff was great and spoke very good English, which really helps me considering I don't know any Russian. Would definitely go back. My only negative thing, was that the terrace was under construction. Probably my fault for not doing more research, it opens in September. It was one of the reasons why I choose this hotel. I was a little disappointed, but can't fault the hotel for me not asking.

Location close to anywhere, you can go by Metro through metro station close by or by Taxi... not expensive.
