Very picturesque, located right in the centre. Hard work finding somewhere to park though as the one way system was awkward to navigate and took three attempts to find the car park. Long walk then to the hotel across the square. Once in staff were pleasant and the room was adequate if a little on the small side.
Clean, friendly staff and perfectly situated in the middle of the city with waking distance to food and shopping. Great stay!
Our stay was like a nightmare. The service level was way more worse than what it should be at a fourstar hotel. We are two couples and booked two different rooms. The first thing our friends faced right after their check-in was a dirty bathroom. They changed the room but this is still unacceptable for a fourstar property. Our room had an odor of moisture as they probably had washed the carpets. They should have quality-checked the rooms before our check-in. The second thing we all faced was a breakfast that literally was identical to the breakfast served in a hospital. I felt insulted because of this as my expectations was to be served a breakfast comparable to a fourstar grand hotel in Europe. I have been to many hotels comparable properties around Europe and never seen something like this. However, the wrost part was how the staff treated their guests. The staff had an unpleasant attitude towards us and they were, contrary to what is normal, not service-oriented at all. We expressed our concern about the quality and standard of the breakfast and they did not do anything to make us feel a little bit happier. No compensations at all. The manager was arguing with us instead of trying to do something about the issue. A simple sign of appology could have changed our experience to the better. Overall, I recommend them to hire a new manager with a leadership that focuses on the service level instead of arguing about what's right or wrong.

loved it, very central, wonderful staff, spotlessly clean for such an old and nostalgic building, I will stay again.
