Stunning boutique hotel located in a quaint historical area. We stayed 3 nights here at the beginning of February in suite no.1 which was beautifully decorated with all the necessary amenities, although dressing gowns would be a nice extra touch, especially in the chilly months.
The family are excellent hosts, they provided us with many recommendations regarding places to eat and visit. They made you feel at home and eager to return.
Exceptional. I recently stayed at Locanda La Gelsomina for a three night getaway in what is a truly historical and authentic luxury accommodation. The owners offered us refreshers on our arrival and were helpful in giving us hints and tips during our visit. Birgu is beautiful and is a short ferry ride away from Valletta itself. Top marks for the tranquility too! Highly recommended, especially for couples!

Absolutely stunning place. The decor is beautiful, the ambience sublime and the tea is delicious. The hosts are as amazing as the venue and I would highly recommend a stay here if you visit Malta. The area is steeped in history and the hotel an incredibly relaxing spot to soak it all in.
