Ok this is one of those you get what you pay for moments. The hotel is very clean and the people friendly enough.
The views aren't Venice on a spring morning they are the outskirts of Milan. They aren't ace but it's not in a bad area and I never felt unsafe coming back to the hotel at night.
We didnt opt for breakfast and I xant comment on the bar but there seemed to be plenty to drink and the bar man was courteous and pleasant when meeting him.
I'd say this hotel once had a decent refurbishment but they used cheap components to do the skirting which is now starting to flake.
It's on the outskirts of the town which takes about 25 mins by tram and walking a couple of hundred meters.
One thing that may bother you is the noise, regular as clockwork someone uses the tap at 4am which is Really noisy in room 108. The trams start early and again they are pretty clattery. But all of this can be overcome by using ear plugs.
Realistically if it wasnt for the noise this place would have got a 4 but it did wake me each night
The beds are king or queen size and made up of two. Very comfy and once you sort out the heating controls the room is airy and warm enough
We were at the hotel last week, we arrived in the morning and the girl who received us wasn't very polite.
We had something not working in the room and the person working as a janitor was not very kind either.
The hotel looks nice, and the rooms are very clean (the girl who was cleaning the rooms was the only who said "good morning" when we arrived, so thank you!).
The hair dryer burned my hand because it's from the last century.
I think that an hotel with four stars should have updated accessories and a kinder staff.
Quaint hotel with a small bar in the lobby. The rooms are small compared to most American hotel rooms. The only issue we have come across in our stay so far is that the shower doesn't drain quick enough. So take quick showers and enjoy the city!
The place is very nice and very close to FieraMilano! The common parts are good quality and very nice to walk in. However, it is very expensive for such a service, room hygiene quality is low, the room is old fashioned. You also must work on your welcome for a 4 stars hotel!
A terrible hotel. Old, tinny tinny, old-fashioned and they didn't want to listen at my concerns even less to think about changing our room because I couldn't feet in the shower (and I am not big). I Don't recommend it. I am disappointed.
