Reviews from visitors:
We stayed here just one night, and LOVED it!! The room was super cute, clean and bright. This little boutique hotel is on a main strip and directly across from the beach access. You can even see the ocean directly from the balcony of the room we had (#3). However I think my favorite part was the breakfast we had at the cafe on the bottom floor. The food was fabulous, and Every dish I saw come out looked awesome. Overall I definitely recommend staying here :)
Delicious, fresh food. Thoughtfully seasoned and cooked. Great location to check out! It has features of light fare, brunch, lunch, and dinner! Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating! We had to approach the maître d' to give the chef our compliments !
Thank you for turning around a sullen day!
What I like about this hotel is that they sell discounts to returning guests! I'm so impressed with the help they've got! It's highly recommended! I'd like to come back here!
We had the most wonderful stay at the Local House Hotel! The front desk staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. When we arrived I mentioned that we would be staying with our 1 year old son, right away they asked if we would like a crib for the room which was a pleasant surprise as I didn’t expect them to have one. When we finished checking in and went to the room the crib was already there with a fresh sheet. This made our trip even even better and we were all able to sleep in comfort. The room we got was clean, spacious, had a big comfortable bed, a nice balcony and partial view of the ocean. We had a choice of daily room service or once every 3 days due to Covid concerns. We chose the daily room service and not once during our 5 day stay did I observe any hotel employee without a mask. They also have sanitizing stations on every floor. The hotel itself is very conveniently located a block away from the strip and 3 minutes from the beach. It does get a little rowdy on the strip especially at night but if you prefer a more quiet environment I would recommend heading to South Point Park where you’ll find pier and a nice walkway along the bay. The views of downtown Miami at night are especially cool. Our room had 2 beach chairs and an umbrella which we used every day so it was definitely worth the resort fee for us. They also give you beach towels so no need to bring your own and take up space in the suitcase. There’s also a huge 2 story Walgreens just a block away where you can buy all you need like water, sunscreen etc. The pool area upstairs was never too crowded and there are a bunch of chairs and tables where you can hang out and relax. The pool itself is not that big but we also spent most of the time on the beach so it wasn’t an issue for us as I don’t understand people who prefer a pool over the beach and the ocean. Our checkout was at 11 and we had a couple hours to spare before our flight, we were able to leave our luggage in the lobby and enjoy the last moments of the trip. I will leave a separate review for their restaurant but in short the food is awesome and the restaurant staff was super nice also - at least twice a day I would ask for hot water for our son’s formula or order for the room and they were always extremely courteous. So yeah 5 stars all around and we will definitely stay here again.
I was gonna come on here and post a terrible review because I felt they were being dishonest and unprofessional, However I had a GREAT time here it’s beautiful and managers + staff are very nice and friendly. I have a prescription for medical marijuana and I smoked in the car and walked into the hotel and got a knock on the door a few minutes later saying it smelled like smoke, The “manager” or so he said cause now i’m finding out there’s no male managers said VERY politely “Hey it smells like smoke this is just a warning please don’t smoke in here if you need to smoke just go outside, IM NOT GOING TO CHARGE YOU THE FEE” I said thanks closed the door and went outside to smoke, NEVER did I smoke in the room. When I left i got an email and saw they took out 200 bucks and said “smoking fee.” I called and spoke to a young man named Charles, He was quick to figure out what exactly is going on and called me back to inform me he spoke to a manager and I will be reimbursed! I’m upset i didn’t get the meet Charles he was very fair and understanding and provided excellent and fast customer service. I was ready to never give this place my business again but Charles and their great Egg Benedicts is definitely going to bring me back!!
