The service here was incredible. However, the check-in process was a NIGHTMARE. I used my husband's credit card and all hell broke loose because the name on the card was different than the name on the reservation. We had to jump through so many hoops to just book the place. That's why I gave it 3 stars. Everything else was good. The place was well-located. The space was decent. Very clean with all the necessities. The sheets were not very comfortable, so I slept on top of them. The locks on the doors were hard to figure out... but the front desk attendant was so kind and walked all the way up to the third floor to show us how to lock it. The water gets BOILING hot in seconds, so I burned my hand. Be careful. For being so close to downtown Miami and Miami beach, the price was worth it.
For the price it's not bad but the rooms are outdated and feel almost unwelcoming. But for the budget its close to everywhere also includes parking and feels safe also great staff always ready to help. Easy check in and check out all contacless.
This is a small quaint hotel. No frills, no elevator, no keys(all code access) and you can not call the hotel, only a answering service. The bed was comfortable though much too low and soft for my taste. The shower got burn-your-skin-off hot is you were not careful. That said it could be worse as there was good water pressure for the waterfall shower head. Big plus. If you’re looking for an inexpensive, quiet place to stay and don’t mind what you see in the pictures then it’s worth it. The parking lot is soooo small but during the week there is almost no one there.
This was probably one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I realize the hotel is old, so I was totally fine to look past the renovated prison cell feel of the room. Then I got woken up in the middle of the night by the first of several loud, screaming arguments in the lobby and/or first floor hallway by other guests. Throughout the entire night, people were parading past the room door, talking and shouting. It was a complete clown show.
A very laid back property where contactless check in and stays are preferred method of stay. Very nice people from all over
