Reviews from visitors:
I really liked this stay. The room was spacious and pleasant. Staff was helpful. All looked clean and well kept. Location is convenient. And the noon check out was very much appreciated! The only negative was the high speed internet was down during our stay, so I had to go to a public place (outside the hotel) to have business meetings - would have preferred to take the meetings from my room.
Wow! Surprised there aren’t more reviews. Staying here currently and it’s in a great location, around the block from the Wynwood art district. It’s not too far downtown Miami or South Beach—-about 15 minute ride, but a lot less traffic and noise. There’s a lot to check out in the neighborhood from restaurants, to shops, to bars. Also, the hotel itself is sleek, modern, and clean. Hotel and bar staff have been very nice and helpful too. I would recommend and return if back in Miami.
I enjoyed my experience. I arrived late due to a flight change & although my room was no longer available they were able to accommodate my needs. I also received a free breakfast for the inconvenience. The room was clean with a great window view. The hotel location is perfect - close to everything. I would definitely choose this hotel again.
Loved the rooftop pool! We hung out for hours. There’s a bar, cabanas, the water isn’t too deep so the kids fully enjoyed! Rooms are nice and the shower is killer!
We redeemed a 25k Marriott night since we were unlikely to go abroad this year, and thought this new property can be a good redemption.
It's a fairly new property that's close to the design district (about 10 mins walk or 2 min drive). The staff were friendly. We arrived early and were waiting for our room.
We decided to go enjoy the rooftop area, as there are cabanas that are nice to relax on. Pool is nice, water is lukewarm though, so you can't really use it at night for long durations (we went in January so it was a bit chilly).
The roof gym was pretty large and modern. There is also a dog run area. Parking is shared with the Hampton Inn that's next door. It's 20/day, you just need to display a parking pass that they give you at check in.
We stayed on the 5th floor near the elevator. The room was large and modern looking. The bathroom was also fairly large, though it's a sliding door. The shower was amazing - rain shower with a nice drainage at the other end.
Unfortunately, the sleeping experience was terrible. First of all, the blanket is literally a thin sheet layer which was too cold for me to sleep with. There is also no weight to this thin "blanket". I needed to grab a bathroom towel to add some weight and warmth. No wonder the bed looked so thin, they literally did not give us a real comforter.
What is worse is that we got a room facing the 7-Eleven gas station, since there were a lot of cars blasting music while filling up gas, with high bass and windows down.
The terrible "modern room design" decision is the automatic movement detector on the thermostat - a bright blue light turns on whenever you get up, which is extremely bright and distracting when trying to use the bathroom quickly before heading back to bed.
It was already 2am and it was too much of a hassle to call for switching rooms and asking for a comforter. We wish we noticed these issues earlier in the day.
Other than the poor sleeping experience, the hotel has a lovely roof, and if you get a room that faces inside (towards the parking lot and not the street), then you'll probably be okay.
