Reviews from visitors:
A modern-style hotel for those who want to be pampered and play in Miami's beautiful South Beach. The nightlife isn't hectic, but you can find a spot by the two pools, the patio/garden, the Red Room, or the beach to party. The 4th of July and New Years Eve are the largest party times, but even in my room overlooking the party on the night of the 4th I barely heard a sound. The stone walls and floors most likely help with this.
If quieter relaxation is your style, the spa offers a variety of services including manicures, pedicures, massages, and facials. The hotel restaurant, Dies y Siez, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with delicious local foods and modern takes on classic Spanish heritage dishes. There is also a bar on the beach with chairs and umbrellas included in the resort fee.
If you are looking to explore Miami, a house car is available to take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. Otherwise, cabs can be requested by the valet. For travel to the Miami Airport, cabs offer a flat $35 fee, which is less expensive than cans traveling the opposite way.
The rooms are modern minimalistic and meant more as a place to sleep and dress between the beach and clubbing, but are perfectly fine for a night in watching tv. The mini-bar is expensive, but offers sodas, alcohols, wines, spirits, and food. If the room hosts adults, a "couple's kit" is available as well. For around $35.
Overall, the Shore Club is a great place for those who enjoy the nightlife as well as those looking to enjoy the finer things South Beach has to offer.
We bought $30 day passes for the pools. Drink service was great and you can order food also. The pool attendant will help you find a good spot by the pool. We got a huge Cabana bed in the Sun with plenty of towels. You can walk right up to the poolside bar or you can wait for the server to come around regularly. There's also a restaurant with a large covered patio and you can watch your pool spot while you eat some restaurant food. The food they offer poolside is a smaller menu. Prices for food and drinks were great. It was a Monday and the place was packed in every area of the hotel. People were having a good time and relaxing everywhere. Very laid-back location with clean bathrooms all around the pools. Everything you need right here! Beach access from pool area
A city oasis, best location, gorgeous rooms.
Haven't stayed here yet but wanted to put out that I'm very disappointed in the way this property is handling the COVID restrictions in Miami. Of course like many long before COVID I booked this property. Now with my trip supposed to be upcoming at the end of Aug I'm quite concerned about Miami being a hot spot.I booked non- refindable (learned my lesson) and the only options they gave was to lose my costs or get a future credit. I know where I won't be booking again. Lesson learned. If it is still bad in Aug. I will just lose my money.
When I initially reserved the room I was expecting to be charged upon arrival, instead I was charged almost $600 less than 7 days after making the reservations. When I reached out to the property they advised this is just how it works and refused to refund me at that time. I forgave them and moved forward because I was going on this trip regardless. When the pandemic took the world by surprise I assumed they'd have enough humility and empathy to process everyone's refund to my surprise they refused a refund and emailed me a credit. I called back and after going back and forth with customer service representatives for over 45 minutes I was finally able to speak with a manager who agreed to process a my refund and advised it would take up to 60 days. I called back after 90 days and was advised it would actually be 60 business days not including weekends and holidays, although this was not explained in the beginning I forgave them again and waited. Its been over 120 days and I have yet to receive my refund of $600.00. I will never reserve a room at this property and I will never stay at this property again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY, THEY ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!
