Nice hotel. Nice staff. Really nice room. However the restaurant next door they give you the breakfast voucher for is a complete and total joke. In fact that was arguably the absolute worst breakfast buffet I've ever had out of the countless hotels I stayed at. If you stay at the hotel and eat breakfast somewhere else other that restaurant, your stay will be perfect.
This hotel is a great find. Very clean, great location and amazing new restaurant downstairs. Mary and the other girls from the front desk were so accommodating with our surprise engagement stay. I am so grateful for selecting this hotel and highly recommend for those looking for comfort, service and cleanliness
This hotel is what made our stay great!! The hotel employees were all cheerful, helpful, and friendly. Each time we went to the beach, the staff provided beach chairs, beach towels, and cold water bottles. The pool is beautiful and well-maintained with nice cabanas for our use. Our room was beautiful, so we enjoyed spending time there. Hotel Victor is, I believe, in the perfect location: a block from the beach, between lots of restaurant choices on Ocean Drive, and a nice beach-side walk from Lincoln Mall. Hotel Victor also provided bikes so we could cruise down to South Point Pier!
FYI: due to COVID restrictions, the restaurants have lots of outdoor seating and the city closed Ocean Drive to allow space for this. Unfortunately, this means that as soon as it gets dark the street becomes a sort of outdoor club. Police monitor the area, but I would not recommend walking around outside with children after dark because there are some weirdo and drunk people walking around.
Great value without missing out on any of South Beach. Also the staff was amazing and did everything to make us comfortable (see below under staff)
Location is very good. Across the street from beach and surrounded by great restaurants. Feel a little north of loudness of south beach but able to enjoy what it offers.
Room- clean, comfortable, not lots of space but enough. We stayed in superior room (lowest tier) so you can have much more.
Amenities- free bikes, water, beach chairs, and beach towels was really nice. The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful.
The Staff - this was the best part. From Mikel at check-in who greeted us warmly and helped us find great food options. The other ladies at front desk was kind and helpful. Jordan (the bellman) was nice and helpful always willing to do whatever to make our staff better.
**we actually had a problem when we first arrived but the staff at Hotel Victor did more than was required to make it right. The General Manager spoke with us personally to let us know how he would remedy our issue. A day later as we passed in the hall he followed up with all that was done to verify we were happy.**
Very happy with the choice of Hotel Victor. After spending a week here I think it is a great balance of location, price, and amenities.
I wish my whole stay in Miami for my birthday was at this hotel unfortunately it was booked but I extended my stay and this hotel was available finally... I see why it was booked up. I did call to see if I was able to do a early checking but the the person who answered was rude. When I got there I was upset I was charged a little more than what I was told but the receptionist was so kind and explained everything to me. She made my stay a lot better. I also let her know it was my birthday and was surprised with a bottle of champagne in my room that I honestly wasn’t expecting. That made my night. The tube was the main reason I wanted to stay I loved every bit of it. I’ll definitely be coming back I’ve already started to look into another stay because I want the full experience.
