We stayed at the W for 3 nights and attended a beautiful family wedding. We were treated like royalty by everyone we came in contact with. Every staff member was polite and helpful. The food at the hotel was so excellent that we ate every single meal at the hotel restaurant. Ricky was a server that stood at as truly being beyond welcoming. He made our dining experiences special. The bartender at the wedding, Ricardo, also stands out as being exceptional; he made up a specialty drink for us that everyone raved about. The wedding that we attended was beyond beautiful. Claudia helped execute the bride's vision; we were very grateful. Thank you for the special weekend!
Another wonderful stay at the W South Beach. From our welcome ambassador Stephan, who went out of his way to remember our names; to our server Laura, who was incredibly accommodating to our requests; to our concierge Majd, who made sure we had the reservations we wanted and helped guide our stay. The personal touch and customer service provided by the W is exceptional. The hotel is clean, smells great, rooms are spacious. We ate at all their restaurants, got room service, the meals were all great. Particularly Mr. Chow. It is located right on South Beach, the views from the room balcony are beautiful. Highly recommend.
Loved the W Hotel. Stayed in a beautiful 2 bedroom suite with a washer/dryer and a kitchen. Staff was always so nice and helpful!! Seems like every room had a terrific ocean view. The pool had a DJ, the beach was beautiful, and the location was perfect. The hotel was very dog friendly and my puppy made many friends. I’ll be back for sure.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff is among the most rude in the world. I stay over 100 nights a year with Marriott. I can’t remember ever being treated this horribly by hotel staff. They can’t get a single thing right.
There are hundreds of beautiful options on south beach. Most of which are cheaper than The W.
Do NOT stay here. Save the aggravation. Save the money. Enjoy your trip elsewhere
Newly renovated room are a delight! I especially enjoyed the showers, the detail-oriented housekeeping, and how the restaurant repeatedly accommodated our groups of friends at the bar, restaurant, pool... special shout out to the attentive and patient Travis Bradwell for helping me through a package delivery snafu. Much appreciated!
