Reviews from visitors:
This place is absolutely horrible customer service wise. I had until 11:59 am the day before my reservation to cancel it and at a bit past noon my mom fell and was rushed to the hospital. I spent all day calling between the hotel, chase rewards, and Expedia. Due to their heartless and completely inflexible policy they could not accommodate me in any sense, even in trying to move the dates back a week, without taking even MORE money from me. Every single person I told- from friends to family to the chase representative were APPALLED that for 4 broken ribs, a broken wrist, and fractured jaw, this poor excuse for a hotel could make zero accommodations and offered absolutely no compassion or empathy. For the garbage service alone id rather pay double the nightly price and be adequately taken care of. This was further exacerbated by the fact that I called the hotel directly all day and nobody picked up, and the only line that would even put me on hold on their booking phone number was the number for NEW bookings and not existing. And even on the new booking, money generating line for this greedy business, I was on hold twice today for over an hour each time only to be told to call the hotel directly (the line that nobody picks up). I will NEVER EVER book this hotel again and I discourage absolutely anybody else who is even thinking about it to think again. In fact when people ask me for recommendations of where to stay in Miami the only piece of advice I will offer them is to not stay here. Disgusting, truly. I hope this establishment sees the end of its days soon
A very friendly welcoming place to spend a couple of nights. All personnel are very well trained, accommodating and all done with a smile. Everything was handled with efficiency and attention to every detail was given. The food was delicious, and the view was wonderful while dining. Thanks for doing such an outstanding job to make my stay so pleasurable!
Worst hotel experience of my life. I've probably stayed in almost a hundred in the last 10 years.
It will ruin your trip. I am not a picky traveler. I've stayed in hostels before.
1. The electronic door reader broke for our room. They lost the manual key so we had nowhere to sleep for hours in the middle of the night. We ended up sleeping on the couch in the lobby for over an hour before the front desk woman gave us a room.
2. The GM told us that he would comp our first night, give us late checkout, and "see what else" he could do. Then told me to come see him at 7am on Sunday morning (the day of checkout) to confirm everything. HE NEVER CAME INTO WORK! (There were also multiple other people there waiting because he told them the same thing).
3. We were forced to sleep in another room in the clothes we flew to Miami in because of their door breaking and them losing the backup. They NEVER compensated for that. Not even a drink at the bar.
4. There was no hot water for 2 days. They did not have a plan to fix it either.
5. It IS NOT handicap accessible. The elevator is broken. One of the staff told me it has been broken for a month and a half. We had to hike 3 flights of stairs (WITH a broken toe) to get to our room.
6. Front desk disappeared for 40 minutes. We waited and waited, so I used the spare key that was on their desk to get into my room (just needed to grab my wallet to get to dinner). When I returned the front desk person had returned. He screamed at me and then threatened to have me arrested and thrown from the hotel for using the key.
7. Open bar was a lie. There was no free happy hour as advertised.
Listen to the Reviews and do not book.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We stayed for 3 nights and it was not worth the money. We were on the 3rd floor and the bathroom was so uncomfortable. They gave us a handicap accessible shower even though we were not. The standup shower made everything wet including the toilet paper. It was unhygienic because the shower floor is the entire bathroom. It literally takes 25 minutes for the water to warm up. The mini fridge was loud and obnoxious. The TV in the room is such bad quality and the remote didn’t work. Like these are just simple things but if I’m paying $200 a night it should include basic stuff. The staff was very nice but they need to upgrade.
We stayed in room 202 and it’s 1:27am at the time of this writing where the music and bass is vibrating the floors and has been for a few hours. We paid nearly $400 for one night. To make matters worse both windows are stuck open and one handle is completely missing and the other doesn’t close so there’s about 1 inch on each window stuck open in this room. We even tried ear plugs and nothing. It’s crazy that the hotel claims to have no control over the noise. I guess we will just plan on not sleeping tonight.
