Enjoyed our recent stay here! We especially enjoyed our clean and quiet Superior Deluxe suite on the 3rd floor that I think was upgraded to a corner view room. Thank you! Never heard anyone the entire time and never even saw any other guests! Thanks for keeping the corridors of the hotel nice and cool. It was so refreshing after walking around in the heat. Loved having use of the stairs here so we didn't have to depend on an elevator. It would be nice if you had luggage carts for guests to use. My husband ( who doesn't mind elevators)could have used one when we checked in and out. Overall, great boutique hotel that I would highly recommend and return to on a future visit to South Beach. Hopefully, you'll be serving breakfasts again on our next trip!
Great, vintage, yet rehabbed hotel along Collins. Friendly staff, and clean, modern rooms. Comfortable bed, expansive desk area, big TV, and wonderful walk-in shower with plenty of storage in the vanity. Wifi was strong enough to stream content without any issue. My stay comprised of one weekend night and week nights for the rest of the trip. Be advised, while no fault of the hotel, Collins Ave is LOUD and very active on the weekends. Short of a bunker, you are going to hear some noise. I did have a room that adjoined with another, and could hear music through the door one evening, but it wasn't enough to keep me awake. If you are bringing a car, valet is $35/day, but I'd recommend the public parking garage one block north on 13th & Collins. Most expensive rate is $15/day on the weekends. Even then, there seemed to be decent availability of spaces. I had a great stay here and would come back.
Booked a stay as a guest on hotels.com. It wasn’t linked to my main account so I forgot I had booked it for my vacation. I received no call from the hotel asking why I hadn’t made my reservation. I may have drove up had I realized that they were going to charge the whole price of my reservation without so much as a phone call. I was not offered any compensation or any refund back or even an opportunity to stay there for one day in the future for a discount. Poor customer service and care.
Perfect location. Like 3 min walk from everything you could want. Absolutely great staff super helpful and friendly! My wife wants me to mention how amazing the shower was! I had to keep reminding her how long she has been in there...
When we come back to Miami we will back at The Marlin!
