Stayed here for my birthday weekend which was on Thanksgiving, I got the Penthouse suite. I booked here through booking for 3 nights at first it was a little issues because when I was trying to check in the system was down. The black tall guy that worked at night helped out he went above and beyond for me. On my second night i was trying to add one more night it a Spanish lady told me I couldn't because all the groom's were full (which was a lie). I saw the black guy again and he added the night for me. I wish I got his name but you guys need to give him a raise lol his customer service skills was excellent. The room was beautiful loved everything and it was near everything didn't need to drive anywhere. I will book here again.
Great place....service is non-existent. Too bad, like the place we hit in Costa Rica, this place could be the bomb if not for very poor management. Great location, access to all the wonders and culinary experiences of South beach, but had to beg to get the room done or even get fresh towels. What a wasted Crown Plaza......needs help!!!
I had an amazing time here for my birthday!!! The staff was great and very accommodating. The view was fantastic! Everything I hoped for! Would definitely book a room again! Only problem was that the jacuzzi was not hot enough.
I stayed 3 nights at rooftop suite. Spending over $2500. For the New Years. Great location, Terrible Nonchalant customer service. Elevator wasn't working for 1st 2 days, had to WALK on a bad knee to penthouse suite, YES walk after spending nearly $2700. Very nonchalant and unprofessional staff. Unapologetic about elevator, and Had to request service 4 times in one day for jacuzzi service. Will definitely look ELSEWHERE next year as I visit Miami every new years
Not a guarantee on room booking. I tried getting in touch with the people I booked the room from before I got there, priceline had to call them. Hours in the hot sun with my 11 yr old daughter, walking, phone died ,stuck, hot, and homeless. After hours of no response, to be told the room air conditioner was broken, which I could tell was a complete lazy lie! When I finally went back to receive my luggage (which the real hotel ) held it for me seeing I was so helpless as a favor to the private lazy owners val and Rob! Rob told me to then try to make another reservation in the hotel which I was told on the phone no rm. But get there and there was. And paid 400+$ extra than what I was normally going to pay, but we were so hot and tired I just stayed. Big mistake. Staff was very nice. I had a nice room previously that's why I insisted on this place. Big Mistake! They room had not been swept prior or during visit. Broken tv. Broken coffee machine. No hot water for a couple of days (sink) had to call for glasses that were previously in the room and they refused and had an excuse to not bring it up. Tried to order room service no answer never all 5 days. Half working jacuzzi. This place could really be great...but no one seems to care, long as they get paid. The hospitality has gone down in Miami. Nobody cares.....I visit often first time I felt like I was getting on the hotels nerve for asking for what they should have. They would not even help call a cab. Rudy was very nice. And another tall black guy were very nice. And an older lady down at the outside restaurant she was very good and clearly knew about hospitality. Thank you to them. So with Z Ocean take a chance ....either u hit on a good room or Miss! all the way!
