Stayed here for one night recently. On the positive side, the room was very comfortable and the bathroom extremely clean. Alejandro at the front desk was also extremely nice and very helpful. On the negative side, the parking situation is pretty lousy. You pay $16 just so that you can "self-park" in a lot about one-half mile down the street. On top of that, my companion dropped an expensive earring in the sink - certainly no fault of the hotel - and we simply requested that an effort be made by the maintenance staff to open up the pipe below the sink to try and salvage my companion's earring. Nonetheless, this appeared to be just "too much to ask" since there was no effort to do so and poor excuses as to why they just simply wouldn't.
I couldn't find parking nor could I locate the hotel office. I lost money on a hotel room. Plus no one answers the phone. On a positive note, I stayed at a nice hotel across the street but ate at The Tavern. I the food is delicious and the guys who worked there are hard working. And because of my great experience at The Tavern I gave a 4 star review.
I love this place. I had room 4301, nice little outside private patio. Washer and dryer. Space. Night crew needs training. Had a broken toilet till the am because she didn't know where there was a plunger. Fan in bathroom was broken too lol. Not good.
Despite that I would stay there again.
I really love this hotel it is in the perfect location and the staff is extremely helpful and professional. Thank to Dewayne at the front desk, I was having a really rough stay at a neighboring hotel and this was a complete 180. Not only was he very positive he helped me navigate around the area. Much appreciated!
I still have a few more days here but I had to get on here and spread the word about this place. The entire staff has been beyond helpful and accommodating from the very first day. With me being in Hospitality I am very observant of how I too am treated in all aspects. From the General Managers to my boy DEWAYNE at the front desk. You guys are beyond amazing and I will definitely be regular here whenever I am in South Beach.
