When I arrived I was blind sided with a request for $1000 for incidentals that wasn’t even available. I ended up giving them $400 I was asked if I would care to switch to a single room even though I booked an ocean view room when they switched me the room I got was street view and when I got to the room i noticed first thing a horrible odor I contacted front desk and while I waited I found an open mini fridge with an old plate of food and a beer in it when the housekeeper showed up I informed him of it he tried to tell me those were locked and only front desk could open em he sprayed some deodorizer which turned out to be temporary and left the odor remained the entire week. The air conditioning didn’t work properly until the last day of my vacation the staff were all distant and not friendly at all and not helpful at all they acted as though it was a bother every-time you asked them anything nothing in the hotel was open the entire week except the cafe where everything in it was outrageously overpriced like $5 for a can Pepsi the only thing good was the room wasn’t a dump and the lobby was nice I will never book this hotel again ever!
We enjoyed our two night stay here for a wedding. It was busy at check in with spring break going on and some amenities had restricted hrs with COVID + curfew, but all in all, we had a great time!
View was awesome, room was clean and everything was well maintained, loved the rain shower head, and our brief interactions with the staff were pleasant.
I am highly disappointed with staying here this time, it was my birthday trip, all my friends came to this hotel for this trip because i have had excellent experiences in the past. Upon arrival it was impossible to get food anywhere for 2 hours. Rooms were not available for early check in which I understand but then my room wasn’t ready until nearly 5 PM. From the beginning most of the staff was so rude. Stressful vacation because of this hotel. We wanted to give it another chance the next day since we had gotten here on Valentine’s Day but the next day was just as bad. I had asked for an upgrade and the lady told me oh no you have the best view of the ocean well all I can see is the roof top of the building. The first night we had to go get a new card to open the room three times. The pool was out of towels. My room was out of towels I called and they came up 40 minutes later.
This by far has been the worst experience I’ve ever had in Miami. I never complain or anything about places but this has been the worst experience ever. I will never stay here again
We stayed at Nobu hotel while enroute of a cross country move. The hotel and hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating from the front desk to housekeeping to the valet. We had multiple odd requests and they were all met with ease. The only reason I provided 4 stars was because we ordered room service 3 times and each time there was an error with the order.
Five night stay was a disappointment. 60 minute wait between arrival time and receiving room key. First day - no room service. Went to guest services and was told that we would only we would be receiving room service one day out of the five night stay. Really? I don’t recall that amenity being advertised on the hotel website. I scheduled housekeeping for the following day. Day 2 - no room service. Tried to call guest services and housekeeping but no one picked up. Had to actually use my cell phone and called the out side hotel number to get someone to answer. Scheduled housekeeping for day three. Day 3 arrives and no housekeeping. More than $400 a night and we’re making our own bed and have no water and coffee? Hotel is grossly understaffed and the guest are feeling the budget cuts. Hotel is nice aesthetically. Restaurant Malibu Farms has good food and service. Lobby bar had unfriendly staff. Overall a poorly managed hotel.
