Reviews from visitors:
I stayed here last year pre COVID-19 and let me tell you what an amazing little boutique hotel. From the small amenities to the decor and rooftop pool- I LOVED every minute of my stay.
I was very excited to find such a great spot in Miami - a boutique hotel with a great room set up for groups. Originally we booked 2 rooms at the South of Fifth location and we were informed only 2 weeks before our stay that this hotel would not be open in time. We were left scrambling to find another option without anything but a “sorry” from the hotel. Eventually they were able to rebook us at the Collins Park location after much back and forth and pressing from our end.
We were never able to stay, however, due to having to cancel our vacation because of COVID-19. We cancelled on March 13th and one of our rooms was refunded within a few weeks. After weeks of trying to clarify the confusion around using 2 credit cards to book the two rooms it was too late and the hotel was not providing refunds any more. (Yes, they said they have always been working on it, but it’s not hard to figure out what’s really going on here.)
It is now 13 weeks later and we still have yet to receive a refund of nearly $400 for the second room. They have never been able to provide a plan or a date that we could expect this refund, only given the run-around using phrases like “please be patient during these trying times.” I understand that the hotel industry took quite a hit lately, but to not refund money that we also could use in our bank account right now is completely unacceptable. I have received refunds from my cruise and airlines, unbelievably, and still this company can not seem to “get this refund worked through their system.”
I have reported them to our credit card company, the Better Business Bureau and the Office of Consumer Protection. Watch your backs when handing over money to this company.
Beautiful Space but my hotel room shared a wall with the restaurant so I could hear there music starting at 7am every day. A noise canceling machine is an easy fix. The Direct TV constantly paused. I paid $5.40 for a coffee. It’s such a cool space and the rooftop is so cool but there was 0 energy. They should do a daily happy hour or something to get some energy going.
Such an incredible boutique hotel! Its beautiful and unique, it feels like a home almost. Loved it! We stayed there for two days and I'll definitely stay there again when I go back to Miami. It's unlike any other hotel in Miami. You actually feel comfortable and relaxed there, it is not tacky and it is very, very clean. It is beautifully designed and the service staff is super nice and friendly. Just go and hang out at the bar and you'll have the best time. I recommend it 100%!!!
Fabulous hotel, 1 star less though because of some issues I experienced. The rooms were really loud, so it was hard to fall asleep without ear plugs. Same with waking up, you could hear every step. Besides that everything was awesome. Nice amenities, great mini bar selection, awesome staff. Enjoyed the LeLabo products in the bathroom.
