I loved it but they do not have cold Ac and they NEVER GIVE YOU ENOUGH TOWELS TO SHOWER WITH
This is an excellent example of the South Beach art deco period. A beautiful hotel renovated to modern standards. First class customer service is just the beginning. Perfect location in South Beach, 2 bars, a nice restaurant and roof top pool. We only stayed 2 nights to check out South Beach and if we come back this is the hotel we'd look forward to staying at. I did like the fact that even though it's spring break there weren't any rowdy college students here.

My husband and I now stay at this hotel every year we visit South Beach. You can walk everywhere and everything you need is close by. However, it is the staff's kindness, courtesy, cheerfulness and trustworthiness that has consistently impressed us and keeps us coming back to their warm welcome. I called Desiree at the front desk last night, slightly panicked, realizing that I had left $300 in cash in our room safe. We had checked out that same morning.
She very calmly told me that the room was currently available (Phew!) and that the manager would check the safe's contents. An hour later she called me back and said that Gerardo had located the $300 cash and that it was safe. (Double Phew!)
This morning Gerardo arranged to Western Union me the cash, which I can pick up at my local grocery store. When I asked him if I could compensate him for his time & trouble he said, "That's OK. The Western Union is just one block away and the exercise will do me good!" Now that that is what I call excellent service!
Cute little '40 hotel, had a good time at the rooftop pool, with nice view of the ocean.
First of all the hotel smells very good, even walking by it, employees are very kind and helpful, good tips on where to hang out or eat well.
Rooms are comfy, with that 1940 vibe, all you need for a getaway.
I was there in. November so it wasn.t loud, although is a block away from ocean drive.
Good times. Will come back
