The location is great and the room renovations look good and up-to-date. However, the floors were extremely dirty when we checked in (it seems as though they have not been mopped in quite some time - the bottoms of your feet are black after walking with bare feet for a few minutes in the room).
The staff are nice and are trying to be accommodating but it seems they were not prepared for the influx of visitors during Spring Break. There are seemingly not enough beach towels & room towels to go around as we ask the staff multiple times on a daily basis. There was no dish soap or paper towels for the kitchen / no trash bags for the waste baskets either.
I’m not a traveler but I’ve been to my fair share of destinations; this hotel is by far the worst but doesn’t look like it in pictures. It’s a facade, pictures look nice but cleanliness, safety, quietness, and service is not there.
After pulling up, what we thought was the building and got luggage out of car, we check in and they print us a map, draw on it to drive another 10 blocks to 8320 building. We stayed in 607 and our adjacent neighbor had a party until 4 AM with loud music. We don’t judge we just got back at 3am from a very loud club (SWAY, which you should also avoid)
The whole place is basic. Coffee maker but no coffee (like really why try ? Just so you can see it in the pictures?) the Iron works. Has a Kitchenette with stove, fridge , washer-dryer in one, Shampoos n soap was fine, bathroom was clean. Trash cans had no bags and had brown substance at the bottom. The room smelled like mold but I chalked it up to the humidity and location. There are nicer hotels. Look elsewhere! A motel is better.
Location was too far north. Don’t drive in South Beach, not even Uber. Takes 30 minutes to go 6 miles. If you want to go to South Beach, don’t rent here. This isn’t hotels fault and not part of my star rating, but just a tip to other tourists.
First off, we had to walk with luggage to another property. This was my mistake because I overlooked the fact that that was a possibility. But, upon entrance into the room it was the nastiest site ever! I'm talking dirty floors, hair in the beds, makeup on pillowcases,...everything you can think of!!! I'll never stay or advice anyone to stay here ever again. To top it off we had to find somewhere else to stay and this caused us to lose one night's stay which was 170! I feel I should be refunded because this was their negligence!
Love the mini kitchen and mini washer/dryer in unit. Plates and cookware included (tho needed a can opener). Cute pool setup despite being small. Cute walkway patio courtyard set up. Friendly helpful staff all around. Ice machine. Only complaints are needs new mattresses and better bed linens. Great easy close beach access plus close to shops and restraunts so no car needed.
BEWARE!!! These reviews are mostly fake. The pictures online are massive misrepresentation of these properties. These are multiple small place advertised as high end. This is a 1star place at best. THIS IS WHY ITS NON REFUNDABLE! if you fall for there reviews like we did you are screwd.
