Excellent for the price. Paid ~$800 for a king bed room on a Saturday night. Breakfast is great by hotel standards. Staff is friendly. Room was quite clean. Mattress decent. Soft/hard pillows.
The service is good thought not all the personal speaks English and the food on breakfast is tasty but menu needs more variation. The hotel is as described in the pictures and the location is in a decent place. We enjoyed our vacations. So far if your not craving for food Sundays after 5pm you'll be okay.

Great staff from the front desk to the restaurant. Escandon is great looking hotel with the art deco look. Our room was large with attractive decor. The bed was large and comfortable. The closet is large. The breakfast, which is part of the plan, was great. There is a lot of natural light from the window.
I went there for free so my opinion may be biased. It was a very nice hoter. I went to room 102 and on the executive section and it was very plaseant. Music over speakers on the roof via BT or 3.5mm aux, free wifi, laundry, and a lot of useful services.
