Reviews from visitors:
I don't recall how I made the original reservation. Possibly from priceline.com which provides a different number from the website. I messaged via Whatsapp.com providing my name and email. It was confirmed that my dates for a stay were set.
When I arrived, it was a different scenario. The gentleman answering the door was very polite, but seemed to have no idea what was going on. He started messaging whomever, taking a picture of the conversation I had and finally quoted me a price of MX 700.00 per night. He will swipe your card in his CC swipe box and you sign the confirmation. Escorted me to my room. Showed me around and handed me the keys,, one for my bedroom door and another for the gate to enter the facility.
Let me point out there was no option given for which room I wanted or what I was looking for. I assumed from the webpage it would be one of those rooms with either a window view of the street or the backyard. Was i wrong!!
I normally don't complain at all. I make the best of what it is and move on. The room was spacious for sure. TV small which only has access to Netflix and youtube. Bed hard. Pillows worn out to where I had to lay one on top of the other to get that comfy-ness. The gentleman did bring out a new comforter for me to sleep with and there was a mini blanket in the closet I added to the bed. There's a mini fridge for snacks you can buy down the street, and there's a menu on top of the fridge what's available on request for a price ( pancakes, eggs, coffee. Etc. ).
Bathroom- expect a low grade spray of water not a power spray. Turn it full blast and you'll still get that fast dripping effect.
Housekeeping- if you need your laundry done, lovely woman by the name of Francesca who will do it. Be sure to tip her 5.00 converted to pesos. She washed, downey'ed and folded. Now that I will give 5 stars.
Down the street you'll find your ATM'S ( use during the day time never at night), a variety of good stands for meat, veggies and fruits as well as decor for home and friends, coffee shops, pastries and restaurants. Using your Google map will help tremendously knowing how far to walk. I've visited Mexico city so many times now I know where I like to go and what to do. I do have more places to visit of course...but aside from that there's a park 17 mins away.
This park is an entrance, exit only. When you walk to the park from the hotel be sure to make a sharp left instead of straight ahead. What happens is your walking to the exit and they will not let you enter from there. You'll end up walking 3 miles around the park just to get to the entrance. So be sure to follow your map, because I didn't. Make that sharp left and once you see vendors id say about a 6 min walk that's where the entrance will be. It is a forest of a park to walk, jog, run, patches of land reserved for laying down and enjoying a lay on a blanket with a loved one, friend or friends. The frida kahlo museum is close by as well as the Diego rivera museum. Pepper my love is close to alot. Only thing was that damn bed!
If your super low maintenance this would be the room for you. Be sure to request prices for rooms you want and be sure to insist on an email for confirmation. Otherwise your going to get a bland room with nothing to appreciate. Almost reminds me of motel 6 in San Ysidro.
P.S.- super hungry Uber eats is amazing!!!! Ordered McDonald's and it came within 20 mins, hot and tasty!!!! Options are on your app. Use it!!!!
Love it...
Excellent place to rest if you go to Mexico City, for work or family trips, comfortable, clean and very accessible to move to any part of the city since it is located in the Coyoacan mayor's office a few meters from the center, I highly recommend it.
Good location but little privacy in the rooms.
It turns out to be a pension rather than a hotel, you have to have a reservation, at least that's what they told us, it has a front of house, they won't let us pass.
