We decided to stay at this hotel after reviewing previous comments. However, I cannot recommend this hotel. The rooms are well decorated, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is very noisy. We initially were in the master suite which overlooks the road, and the windows are not soundproof as reported on their website. So, you hear the traffic and construction noise. In addition, there is a restaurant across the street with music. We were moved to a smaller room at the back of the hotel although this shared a wall with a bar. Despite moving to this room, we were still charged the same price as the room with a suite. So if you are looking for peace and quiet, stay some where else.
Perfect location in Roma. We were able to walk to so many delicious restaurants and great bars in under 10 min all around. Also just a fantastic neighborhood to wander aimlessly- gorgeous buildings, parks, colors, murals all around. Front desk staff & doorman are professional, knowledgeable. All and all on point. If you are a city person and you prefer to stay in a great neighborhood not where all the touristy stuff is, this is for you.
If there was a sixth star available I'd give it to Casa Goliana! The hotel is beautifully decorated and feels like stepping into your own home. The staff, without exception, were friendly, engaging and helpful with faultless English. The area is slightly off the tourist trail, but its easy to walk into the Centro Historico or over to the Bosque de Chapultepec park. There are lots of lovely bars and restaurants in the area, only a short walk away. We felt very safe in this area and walked extensively around Mexico City from here.
I was there just for a moment, but it es really nice.
