This hotel is amazing! There's an incredible blend of old world charm and modern elegance. Emanuel and Aileen were incredibly gracious and lavished all kinds of attention on us. The restaurant served delicious and beautiful meals. Our room was comfortable and we slept great. We will be staying here again on our way back to the US and I can't wait. Highly recommend!
View from the third floor balcony was great. Room was large, comfortable, and beautiful. Staff were great and very accommodating. Within walking distance of many of the local sites. Would definitely stay again.
The Mumedi is extremely unique and in the heart of the historic area. The entire staff was amazing, especially Emmanuel and Aileen. They reached out the morning of our stay on WhatsApp to welcome us. They provided early check-in and made a latte for my wife. Emmanuel was extremely helpful, with suggestions, directions and overall great service.
This was hands down the GREATEST hotel experience of my life. I am telling you right now. If you are going to Mexico City, THIS is the PLACE to stay. Everyone on the staff is so incredibly kind it is surreal. I have never, ever been treated this good at a hotel and I have stayed at hotels across the world. The rooms are incredible and spacious. The hotel is part of an art gallery and a cafe. Both are also phenomenal. Truly one of the best experiences in my whole life was staying at this place. You are missing out if you don't stay here.
My husband and I booked this place for two nights and was confirmed by hotel that it was okay to check in at 1pm however when we got there, the gates was closed. Called the phone number several times and was unable to get through. Ask the officers on the street to call and find out for me if they were open and they were also unable to get in contact with hotel. So 1.5 hours later at, we decided to just get a room at the hotel across the street. Right when we got into our new room, they call us and say that they are waiting for us.........
We did not get a refund. They said that no one called.... pretty upsetting. They say the gates were closed but the hotel in the building is still open. If you are expecting guests, you should have a valid phone number posted and someone at the gate at all times to open it for the arriving guests. That just my opinion. Overall, it’s a great location if you decide to stay here. Tacos across from the hotel are excellent and cheap. Just that the hotel is poorly managed.
